Thrilled to have this beautiful Lonesome Valley mountain wedding editorial featured on Wedding Sparrow this week! Fall weddings are some of my absolute favorites, and this is no exception. The color tones, the cooler air, and being set in such a gorgeous location as this incredible mountain valley certainly make for an amazing day. I love the beauty this crew was able to create for this shoot, and I’m thankful for their talents! Take a look at the Wedding Sparrow feature here!
“The complex colors of early autumn in Lonesome Valley, NC set the tone for this editorial. Dusty plum, bisque, and warm ecru weave from the changing mountainside down into the table spread. Bone-white chairs create a stark contrast in the still-green field, and the white is reflected in lush punctuation marks of pampas grass for the ceremony centerpiece. The bride’s gown also offers dynamic tension with its mysterious lace overlay and demure lines in front, but revealing drama in back. The evening air is suspended between the sultry heaviness of summer and the crisp chill of fall, making it the perfect time for her to revel in the glorious natural surroundings. A dance in the field, a quick step in the river, and a quiet moment of reflection by the lake.”
