I am rich in talented friends. Two of those folks are Joshua + Mandy Blankenship. They run a shop in the Village of West Greenville called Shop-Keep, which is a handmade textile art + paper goods shop for useful, decorative items. One of Mandy’s product lines is her handmade, modern-American quilts using Japanese sashiko thread. She’s recently been invited to submit to Martha Stewart’s American Made contest, which is a nationwide search for the year’s best maker. I was fortunate to collaborate with them by photographing her quilting process to include in their submission. Over this past weekend, their submission profile was one of four featured artists on Martha Stewart’s Living blog!

So with all that in mind, voting begins TODAY so please head over to their submission profile to vote them into the winner’s spot! Category voting ends on September 13, 2013, and grand prize voting is from Sept. 17-23. Let’s help them bring it home! Mandy is such a beautiful person inside + out, and I’m so honored to have been able to partner with her + Joshua on this!
